The European community needed a go-to place for all matters related to content. So we created one. Not only the case studies take the stage here, but we shine as well. Thought leaders and game changers team up from across borders to upskill current and future content professionals.

We draw the map of the European content marketing industry together with the community itself.

Who are the game changers in Europe? What is their biggest idea? And what are their main challenges? Inspiration shared through interviews with thought leaders.

 

You will also find great cases from different European countries. Our editors dive into the question: What are they doing in Poland or Italy regarding content marketing?

 

Are there any interesting cases in Germany we can learn from? And just as obvious as it may be surprising, what makes a German case a German case? Can or can’t it be applied in Romania or Czech Republic? What are the similarities and what are the differences?

Why A Content Marketing Platform?

In order to see the bigger picture, we need to understand each other’s perspective.

Instead of leaving national content associations to work as individuals, we wanted to connect the dots. Content goes beyond only a selling instrument. It’s also the story of the bits our society is made of. And the storytellers are awaited on WeContent to write the next chapter together.

 

As a platform, WeContent is more than a skill-sharing place. It’s also an accelerator for those eager to put the spotlight on content within their own community. But getting started can be hard, so our partners benefit from our expertise receive a share of the generated revenue.

WeHISTORY

2018

 

WeContent took shape in 2018 as a response to the ever-growing interest for content in the Romanian market. And the debut was promising: the line-up consisted of 12 Romanian and 4 international speakers who brought together around 400 people for a 2 days long conference with keynotes and masterclasses.

 

2019

 

After a great start, 2019 was the year to step up our game. The second edition of the conference saw a line-up consisting of 7 international speakers out of the 8 present. This includes a Hall of Fame speaker and author, Jay Baer. The number of attendees grew up to almost 500 at both the keynotes and the masterclasses.

2020

 

At the beginning of the year, WeContent got new parents – the brand joins the Wave Division family and Al Kamara becomes the new CEO. But soon, the entire team had to abandon all plans in the face of the pandemics and make new ones. That’s when ContentDays, the virtual younger brother of WeContent, was launched and when the shift from a conference to a platform started to happen.
